The total revenue brought in during the June quarter 2019 was $192 002 million, up 13.6% since the March quarter 2019. Expenses came in at $176 042 million, up 6.8% since last quarter. With revenue exceeding expenses, a net operating balance of $15,959 million was established.
In the June quarter 2019, taxation revenue increased by 13.1% from the Marth quarter 2019, bringing in $153,801 million.
The quarterly national accounts public sector measures show that general government final consumption expenditure increased by $2,365 million (2.7%) and is expected to positively contribute 0.5% to growth in the June quarter 2019 volume measure of GDP.
The general government gross fixed capital formation decreased by $470 million (2.7%), public corporations gross fixed capital formation decreased by $70 million (1.3%) and public gross fixed capital formation decreased by $541 million (2.3%). This is expected to detract -0.1% from growth in the June quarter 2019 volume measure of GDP.
